In 1995, Bishop Jones founded Refuge Ministries which at that time provided a covering for newly established, as well as struggling ministries in order to assist them in
developing growing and effective ministries. This covering consisted of providing services such as training opportunities and Counseling. Refuge Ministries Counseling
Ministry continues to offer a word of hope and healing to hurting people with a special interest in providing one on one counseling to Pastors’ and their families.
Bishop Jones is
also the author of Maintain Your Faith which is a book that teaches us “how to keep your focus while your faith is under fire”. He has also written several training manuals to help
churches become established and to grow in spiritual maturity. Bishop Jones has written several articles that have been published in Change Gospel Magazine and Vision Gospel Magazine.

Bishop Jones is the Senior Pastor of LaPorte Resurrected Life Church in LaPorte, Texas.
He also serves as Presiding Prelate of New Beginning Ministries International Inc., along
with Bishop R. Phillip Mitchell, Co-Presiding Prelate, in Dothan, Alabama.
Bishop Jones received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Theology from Global Oved Dei Seminary and University.
Bishop Jones received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion, with a minor in
Counseling from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA. He also completed his Master of
Arts degree in Human Services Marriage & Family Counseling.
Bishop Jones went on to
obtain a second Master’s degree in Religion and Worship Studies from Liberty Baptist
Theological Seminary, Lynchburg, VA.

Bishop Jones is also a Chaplain, completing his chaplaincy program in Professional Leadership Development.
Running a close second to his love of the Gospel Ministry is his Music ministry. He has
served as a Minister of Music for well over 20 years and at every given opportunity he
can be found on the hammond organ.
He is married to his lovely wife, Victoria. Bishop Jones is a loving husband, father and
grandfather. Bishop Jones is a man on a mission from God who is uniquely articulate
with the word that God has deposited within him and is greatly respected for how he
ministers God’s word.
