Bishop Vincent J. Jones was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He grew up in a family
that loved the Lord and understood the power and authority of God’s word. He accepted his call to the Gospel Ministry in 1987 and was honored to have God to call on him for such an awesome task. Bishop Jones began preaching in his community and abroad as he was excited to share with others Gods word and his own personal testimony.

In 1992, God called Bishop Jones into the Pastorate and allowed him to plant and birth Garden of Prayer Christian Ministries. As a result of this vision, many were saved by God’s word and many were blessed abundantly through this ministry. Indeed, Garden of Prayer became the catalyst for what God had in store for the life of Bishop Vincent Jones.
